Our challenge was to install media elements in the newly renovated Lotte World’s large merchandise shop ‘Lotty’s Emporium’ to attract visitors and enhance their satisfaction. The store concept, “Lotty’s mansion filled with travel memories,” needed to be brought to life through media content. We developed interactive media for the four themed rooms (Doll Room, Toy Room, Dress Room, Kitchen & Library) to spark curiosity about the products.
Media facade, Kinetic Media, Holograms, AR, Magic Mirror, etc.
Lotte World’s merchandise shop
a large multi-product store spanning over 660 m2
Featuring four themed rooms: Doll Room, Toy Room, Dress Room, and Kitchen & Library.
Branded Lotty’s mansion-themed character shop filled with travel memories through media art and interactive elements tailored to each room.
To attract visitors, we installed a media facade on the front of the merchandise shop, featuring animated adventures of Lotty and 3D signboards to convey the shop’s identity. Upon entering the shop, visitors first encounter the Doll Room, where we designed rotating media frames that change pictures with each spin, capturing their attention. In the Toy Room, we developed a hologram-based 'Secret Box' showing Lotty’s hidden treasures and an AR camera ‘Gesture Game’ to spark curiosity and engagement. In the Dress Room, a ‘Magic Door’ touch mirror allows visitors to take photos in different themed photo zones. The diverse and captivating media displays, aligned with the theme of 'Lotty’s Journey,' provide an enjoyable experience, naturally leading to product interest through interactive media touchpoints. The space is designed to feel like a fantasy movie, with various media content inside offering the fun of an exhibition.
