CES 2022 LG H&A Virtual Exhibition

2022 CES / Online

Challenge

The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the evolution of online virtual exhibitions. AFRAME, in collaboration with LG Electronics, led the way in this new form of exhibition. Building on the success of the fully online CES 2021 exhibition, we planned and created an online exhibition platform for CES 2022 that allowed everyone to freely experience products and technologies. LG Electronics prepared two online exhibition halls showcasing home appliances, TVs, and audio products, with AFRAME specifically designing and producing the home appliances virtual exhibition hall.

Virtual exhibition accessible via PC and mobile devices

Three themed spaces within the LG Home Appliances online exhibition hall: LG Home, LG Home by Objet Collection, LG ThinQ

Designed to provide easy and quick understanding of the exhibition space and product information

Frame Out

We implemented WEB GL and Furioos streaming services to allow immediate web-based experiences. The exhibition halls were divided into three themes: ‘LG Home,’ ‘LG Home by Objet Collection,’ and ‘LG ThinQ.’ In ‘LG Home’ and ‘LG Home by Objet Collection,’ visitors could use 3D modeling to change products and interiors according to their preferences, observing how the products seamlessly fit into various interior themes in a virtual home-like environment. In ‘LG ThinQ,’ visitors experienced how easily and conveniently they could use home appliances through the LG ThinQ app, capturing significant visitor interest.
