Challenge

At ISE 2023, Europe's largest display exhibition held in Barcelona, Spain, we showcased anamorphic 3D art videos. To demonstrate display technology that creates new spaces, we designed and produced a new media sculpture inspired by the zero-gravity structure of tensegrity, connecting four Micro LEDs. Using anamorphic techniques, we created a visually captivating experience that sparked curiosity and engagement among visitors.

Process

We set the interior of the Micro LED as a zero-gravity cube, creating an infinitely expanding space within the Micro LED cube. The scenes were designed around four festival themes (Music, Ocean, Winter, Space) and produced with a fun and fancy tone using anamorphic 3D art.

At ISE 2023, we successfully showcased a new concept structure using Micro LED and created an infinitely expanding space within it using anamorphic techniques. Key considerations for producing anamorphic videos included spatial perception and the viewer's perspective. We focused on perspective and size illusions to maximize the anamorphic effect, conducting tests to achieve successful exhibition content.
