Challenge

At the CES 2020 exhibition in Las Vegas, LG Electronics showcased a monumental media installation called 'New Wave,' created by linking over 200 flexible OLED signages with a 2000R curvature. This massive media sculpture at the entrance of the LG booth captivated the attention of international visitors.

Process

We shot and composited footage from Iceland's glaciers, ice caves, and waterfalls to match the sculpture's structure using CG. This included the sculpture's smooth curves and scenes of Mauritius Underwater Waterfall and gardens. We also showcased OLED's self-emissive and Black color features with fireflies, lanterns, and space imagery.

Frame Out

With seamless content integration and astonishingly vivid images combined with the Dolby Atmos surround sound system, we provided an immersive viewing experience that captivated CES attendees. Since 2016, LG's large-scale OLED media art has been a must-see attraction at CES. The impressive media sculpture at the LG booth entrance was created in partnership with AFRAME.
