Challenge

At the International Consumer Electronics Fair (IFA) 2022 in Berlin, we connected two 97-inch ultra-large OLED TVs and combined them with LED lighting to deliver overwhelming image quality and immersion. To highlight the self-customizable design that changes with different scenarios, we used the concept of light and shadow to symbolically represent the changing nature, aligning the TV’s light with LED lighting to present dynamically evolving media art.

-Conceptual content based on light, representing the self-customizable design of appliances adapting to different scenarios 

- Visually interpreting the exhibition theme "Life, Re-imagined (Discovering New Possibilities in Everyday Life)" 

- Creating immersive scenes with OLED's bright and vivid image quality


Process

We needed a combination of scenes that highlighted each TV individually and scenes where the two TVs interacted. Additionally, we integrated LED lighting installed on the structures for a complex presentation. The theme "Timeless Light" was used to highlight OLED's technological excellence, symbolized by light orbs representing the sun and moon, narrating a story that transcends time and illustrating various worlds created through the interplay of light and shadow. 


Frame Out

With the exhibition concept "Life, Re-imagined," we aimed to provide new experiences beyond everyday life and emphasize TV technology by utilizing two 97” OLEDs. The content showcased an infinite journey created between light and shadow, highlighting OLED's technological features. The color-changing lighting and synchronization of the two TVs captured the attention of many visitors at IFA, held for the first time in three years after the pandemic.
