Challenge

 Challenge At IFA 2018, the key challenge was to convey LG’s Super UHD TV’s Nano Cell technology, which filters pure colors, through engaging and attractive content. To simplify the presentation of this technology, we designed and produced a video, using kinetic art balls as a design motif to symbolize the 1mm Nano Cell molecules.

LG Super UHD TV x 4 + Kinetic Art Balls

LG Super UHD TVs were displayed in an island setup. The structure and content symbolized the product's technology.

- Coordinated the kinetic balls with the Nano Cell 1mm molecules. - Produced an Intro using the kinetic balls as a design motif.


Process

We timed the kinetic balls and video playback to create a seamless 'connection' between the kinetic art and the video content. This involved positioning the TVs and kinetic balls precisely and conducting multiple tests to ensure alignment and synchronization. 


Frame Out

Using synchronized play between the metallic balls symbolizing Nano Cell molecules and the video content, we effectively transformed the Nano Cell technology into a dynamic and artistic experience. The synchronized kinetic art enhanced the delivery of Nano Cell technology, presenting it as a lively and captivating artwork.
