At Europe's largest electronics exhibition, IFA 2019, LG Electronics showcased the world's first 8K OLED technology. To match this innovation and the brand's prestige, we produced content for the 88-inch LG Signature OLED 8K TV, the largest OLED TV available. Under the concept 'The Wild,' we captured the natural beauty and wildlife of Africa's Serengeti. The lifelike realism, vivid colors, and dynamic detail displayed on the OLED 8K captivated many visitors.

Process

We developed 'The Wild' concept to capture every aspect of the African Serengeti. We filmed moments from dawn to night on the Serengeti plains, meticulously planning and preparing for the animals' appearances, sunrises, and weather conditions. We waited days for the perfect shots. The footage was then enhanced with D.I / noise reduction and CG, emphasizing the vivid colors, overwhelming detail, and rich black contrast exclusive to OLED 8K. 

Frame Out

The Wild content, captured on-site, highlighted OLED 8K’s vivid colors, detailed clarity, and rich black contrast. This realistic visual experience underscored OLED 8K’s superior picture quality and advanced technology. The content was also used at CES 2020 and as a quality demo video.
